  1. Vitruvi diffuser: I recently got this diffuser and I'm already in love with it. It feels and looks so beautiful/expensive and it just adds the perfect touch to any area I put it in. I love the way that the light looks as well, It isn't a tacky blue LED light, it's an elegant, soft white light that goes great with my decor. At night it brings such a cozy vibe to the bench. Once I get more use out of this diffuser I will post a full review but so far I'm so happy with it.

2. New artwork: After removing my mirror from my bench I needed a new piece of artwork for this area and I'm glad I stumbled upon this one on etsy. I framed it using framebridge.com and framing definitely helps make even the most affordable prints look very elegant and expensive. It is very true to my style and it is pretty simple but it definitely makes a statement. I think it adds the perfect touch to my bench since I have so much wall space here.I also decided to go with a pewter frame as opposed to a brass or black frame which is what I have around my house and I am SO glad I did. It's just the perfect happy medium and it goes with everything!3. EM cosmetic True Gloss: This time of year I prefer glosses as opposed to liquid lipsticks or anything that takes a lot of effort to put on your lips so I'm happy I discovered these glosses. Not only is the color pay-off great for a gloss but the formula is excellent! It also wears off beautifully throughout the day which is very important for me because it means that I don't constantly have to be applying it over and over again. This is seriously all I've been wearing since I got them.4. Living room lamp: After being on the hunt for a living room floor lamp for months I was finally able to get my hands on this little guy. Sure, it's not anything out of this world but I wanted something simple that didn't remove the attention from the rest of my living room while still completing the space and I think this lamp fits in perfectly. It also gives me a very Scandinavian vibe, which I love to throw into my decor here and there because of how clean and simple the Scandinavian style is.5. Hair Scarfs: If you saw my recent video on "Easy Summer Hairstyles Using Scarf" you would've seen me talk about how much I'm loving hair scarfs at the moment for days when you just don't know what to do to your hair. I think it makes even your worst hair days look better and I also really love tying them around my bags, I feel like it makes anything look so on-season & playful without being over the top or tacky. PRODUCTS MENTIONED: vitruvi diffusor // art work // EM cosmetics True gloss // floor lamp // hair scarf

Two-Piece Sets For Summer

If you saw my spring essentials video  you would've probably seen me mention two-piece sets and how I'm loving them this summer.

These shorts and this top is actually not sold as a set but I paired them together and absolutely love how it looks.

It's such a lightweight outfit which is perfect for these ridiculously hot days. Plus, they can be mixed and matched with other pieces.

Silk

Silk is one of those fabrics that just feels so luxurious when you put it on. I feel as though everyone needs at least one silk piece in their closet. There is a difference between throwing on a basic tank and a basic silk tank. Silk just makes your outfit look and feel more put together with very minimal effort.

Take this jumpsuit for instance, It's very basic but I can easily dress it up or down and it will work either way because it is silk. I love the way it feels, it is not a heavy fabric at all so it is perfect for this time of year.

It tapers at the leg & has pockets which is seriously always a plus for me.

Got a couple of pieces from Grana's Chinese Silk collection & I seriously cannot believe the quality of them, they are all composed of 100% silk & are all so ridiculously comfortable.

You can receive 10% off their entire site + free shipping world wide for new customers by entering "GEMARYXGRANA" at checkout valid through the end of July.

The back has this beautiful cross detail and the front is a V-cut which is one of my favorite cuts in pretty much any top.

It ties at the waist so you have the ability to make them high, mid or low waisted.

Fall Transition Pieces

Top: American apparel | Overalls: Madewell

As I've mentioned millions of times in previous posts, my favorite/most worn pieces of clothing are the ones that I can wear over & over many different ways and not have to worry about the season, clothes that I can wear year round & just adjust according to the weather.

Miami doesn't necessarily have a significant change in seasons ( and by that I mean there is barely a change in season at all -.-)  so I can probably get away with wearing certain things that most people who actually experience drastically cooler weather cannot but, for the most part, these are clothing items that I consider transitional from summer to fall.

In this post I only go through three out of four transition pieces. If you'd like to see the fourth one be sure to check out my accompanying lookbook video HERE

First, we have the off-the-shoulder top.  Probably one of my favorite style of tops. Here, I paired it with some overalls from Madewell  and some sneakers from adidas (not pictured ).  Links are in captions

Dress: Oak & Fort | Trench Vest: Zara (old) | Boots: Steve Madden | Watch: Nicole Vienna

Here, We have my favorite everyday dress. Here I paired it with a trench-vest but again, the possibilities are endless. I think sheer stockings would have also looked great or over-the-knee boots. I made a previous post dedicated to vests, be sure to check it out if you'd like links to vests similar to this one. HERE

Cami: Mango | Scarf: Zara (old) | Jeans: Madewell | Bomber: Brandy Melville

Next we have my favorite weightless cami. Who says you can't wear your favorite cami year-round?

To be honest you can get away with wearing pretty much anything as long as you layer correctly.
