Vitruvi diffuser: I recently got this diffuser and I'm already in love with it. It feels and looks so beautiful/expensive and it just adds the perfect touch to any area I put it in. I love the way that the light looks as well, It isn't a tacky blue LED light, it's an elegant, soft white light that goes great with my decor. At night it brings such a cozy vibe to the bench. Once I get more use out of this diffuser I will post a full review but so far I'm so happy with it.
2. New artwork: After removing my mirror from my bench I needed a new piece of artwork for this area and I'm glad I stumbled upon this one on etsy. I framed it using framebridge.com and framing definitely helps make even the most affordable prints look very elegant and expensive. It is very true to my style and it is pretty simple but it definitely makes a statement. I think it adds the perfect touch to my bench since I have so much wall space here.I also decided to go with a pewter frame as opposed to a brass or black frame which is what I have around my house and I am SO glad I did. It's just the perfect happy medium and it goes with everything!3. EM cosmetic True Gloss: This time of year I prefer glosses as opposed to liquid lipsticks or anything that takes a lot of effort to put on your lips so I'm happy I discovered these glosses. Not only is the color pay-off great for a gloss but the formula is excellent! It also wears off beautifully throughout the day which is very important for me because it means that I don't constantly have to be applying it over and over again. This is seriously all I've been wearing since I got them.4. Living room lamp: After being on the hunt for a living room floor lamp for months I was finally able to get my hands on this little guy. Sure, it's not anything out of this world but I wanted something simple that didn't remove the attention from the rest of my living room while still completing the space and I think this lamp fits in perfectly. It also gives me a very Scandinavian vibe, which I love to throw into my decor here and there because of how clean and simple the Scandinavian style is.5. Hair Scarfs: If you saw my recent video on "Easy Summer Hairstyles Using Scarf" you would've seen me talk about how much I'm loving hair scarfs at the moment for days when you just don't know what to do to your hair. I think it makes even your worst hair days look better and I also really love tying them around my bags, I feel like it makes anything look so on-season & playful without being over the top or tacky. 1. It's hard for me to find products that work for my skin because my skin is so easily irritated. This is why I am usually very hesitant to work with skincare companies or test out new skin care without doing extensive research on the products. With that said, I've sworn by Caudalie's detox mask for a while now and can truly say that it is genuinely one of the masks that makes my skin look the best the next day, so when they reached out to me to send over some products you could just imagine how excited I was about it.So far the new products I've tried from them are the followingGlycolic peel : Great for removing layer of dead skin and revealing brighter more even skin. it is also very gentle compared to other chemical exfoliants I've tried so it is perfect for sensitive skin.Beauty elixir : One of my absolute favorites so far, this stuff makes my skin so plump and hydrated, my skin really loves this stuff. I spray it on right after cleansing and to set my makeup and it seriously makes my makeup look soooo much better & makes my face feel so smooth.Vinosource moisturizing sorebet : Such a great lightweight yet very hydrating moisturizer, you can use it for both daytime and nighttime use. However, I prefer this one for daytime.Premier cru the serum: I think this is the product that has made the biggest difference in my skin in the shortest amount of time, honestly this is a little bit of magic in a bottle. I apply this at night after cleansing and my skin looks so plump and even the next morning, it also feels EXTREMELY soft.Premier cru cream: I've been applying this at night right after the serum and while it is not the heaviest moisturizer out there it sufficiently hydrates and moisturizes my skin and I think that it boosts the results of the serum.Overall, I am so happy with the way my skin has been looking since I incorporated these products into my routine and I will definitely be repurchasing some of them once I run out.
2. As most of you may know I absolutely love the Glossier You perfume so I am so excited that they came out with something so innovative and travel friendly, the solid form! I can just slip this into my purse and have it with me on the go and it is so fun to put on. The TV show that has been consuming my life lately is Outlander. If you guys ever read my post on finding inspiration you would know that one of my main sources of inspiration is television, specifically shows or movies that speak to my aesthetic. I definitely recommend you give it a watch if you have not seen it, I still haven't finished it yet but so far it's a really great show and a beautiful innovative story.

Welcome to the first Friday Five post of the year! It's been a while since I do one of these and these are actually my favorite posts to write so I'm going to try really hard to incorporate it into my blog as often as possible. If you're new here, my Friday five posts just consist of five things that I will talk about, which can range from life updates, home updates, or anything that I'm loving at the moment.
1. If you saw my December favorites you would've seen me talk about Le Labo's Another 13.. it has been EVERYTHING lately. This is one of those scents that every time you put it on SOMEONE compliments you. It is so unique and beautiful & I cannot stop wearing it! I have mentioned Le Labo so often lately but it is for a very good reason! It smells like luxury with a hint of masculinity while still retaining femininity. It's so perfect 😩2. The Ordinary is a skincare brand that I've been trying out for about a month and a half now and I am so happy with the results I've had in such a short period of time. Granted, I am using alot of new products which have, most likely, also contributed to the changes but I wanted to highlight two products that really bring my skin back to life post application.The first one is their Glycolic acid 7% toning solution, (pictured above) I use this once or twice a week and I notice a huge difference in my skin when I wake up in the morning. I am just free of dead skin, my face looks so plump and glowy in the morning. I definitely recommend incorporating at least one chemical exfoliant in your routine once or twice a week, I actually prefer them over physical exfoliants. This just helps me bring my skin back to life when it is looking extra dull.
I have three serums from them which I've been using every day and really love, but as far as instant gratification goes, their buffet serum is your guy! Right after I put this on, my skin feels plump and ready to go, it helps everything that I put on top of it go on so smoothly. Of course, despite it looking great right after application, it is actually doing something for your skin, this is the perfect cocktail packed with peptides.3. I know that the Ouai texturing hair spray (first picture) is a VERY hyped about product, but honestly... it's for a good reason. This not only gives your hair volume and texture but it somehow keeps your hair style put without making your hair feel hard or weird. I also really love the Amica bombshell blowout spray, which can be used on damp or dry hair, I ran out of that one, which is why I tried this one but I genuinely love both.
4. If you guys have been up to date with my IG or channel you probably already know my dining room is slowly but surely coming together. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is if I'm going to do a full house tour soon & LORDDDD, furnishing a house takes so much time! I promise those videos are coming... but it takes time to get things exactly how you want it, & even then, you will never feel like it's finished. I've lived here since last April and now is when I finally have a dining room.I knew from the beginning I didn't want my entire house to be mid-century, there is nothing wrong with having everything one style but, personally, I love mixing because I feel like it brings coziness and warmth to spaces. This is why I opted for a barn-style table. I have always loved colonial dining rooms so I wanted to incorporate that into my home... but with my twist, of course. The dark wood brings so much warmth to this space and I think it makes such a great contrast with the walls.
Some people wouldn't advise mixing dark chairs with a dark table but since the chairs are iron, I think it gives it a little bit of an industrial touch while still retaining the colonial aspect. My chandelier is from west elm and I think it adds the perfect modern touch. The antique mirror is a hand-me-down from my mom & it is actually going to go on top of a mantle, I've always wanted a fireplace but a real one would cost too much to install and all of the faux ones are too bulky looking so I'm hoping I can find an electric insert that doesn't look too cheesy and we will build a mantle around it. I have yet to design the mantle, but I just know I want it to be sleek, quite narrow & barely there, while still being able to hold this heavy mirror and other little nooks & crannies.I'm excited! Of course once we get started I will document everything.5.

1. Hello new favorite perfume! I've always wanted to try one of Le Labo's perfumes so I was so excited when they reached out to me and offered to send me one of their scents. I received a bunch of samples and ended up going with this scent, Limette 37. It smells so elegant and beautiful, I really can't stop using it. Also, how gorgeous is their packaging?!
2. Had to change my living room plant because, sadly, my fiddle leaf didn't make it. I'm pretty good at caring for plants but I always have trouble with fiddle leafs, unfortunately. This time I opted for a Monstera and I am in love. I've only had it for about a month and it has already grown so much. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an indoor plant that doesn't require a whole lot of attention.
3. Here is the newest member of my watch collection. I really love how unique this watch it. I definitely have a style when it comes to watches and gravitate towards a very minimal, sleek design. 4. Along with the watch I also picked these glasses. I'm really loving all things vintage and vintage-looking at the moment and I've really been loving cat-eye sunglasses but didn't want to commit to a straight-up cat-eye right off the bat, so I was so excited when I tried these on. 5. I have been on the hunt for a coin necklace or something that resembled a coin necklace for some time now, so I'm very happy I came across cinco-store on Instagram. They have such a beautiful collection of jewelry. I chose this necklace in Eleonora and have not taken it off ever since I received it.
