Floral
Two-piece set: HERE | Shoes: Steve Madden "Werkit sandals" (old) (similar) | Sunglasses: Rayban |
As I've mentioned before, I'm so picky when it comes to prints but I couldn't pass this two-piece up. I've been looking for a flowy, pant, two-piece set & I finally came across one that I like!
Not only are the roses on this set subtle & beautiful but the color palette is EVERYTHING. Very rarely do I come across a floral print that is not overwhelming & when I do come across one that I really like it's usually SUPER expensive.
The colors are perfect, it has a slit & we all know how I feel about slits, it's flowy & extremely comfortable... I honestly can't get over how comfortable this set is. I'm going to have a difficult time wearing anything else this summer.
The Perfect Knit
Sweater: HERE | Glasses: HERE | Shoes: HERE | Jeans: H&M | Bag: Topshop | Watch: Daniel Wellington |
I really love knitted sweaters but sometimes I feel like you can get lost in their chunkiness. It's very hard for you to look "sexy" or feel feminine, or whatever you want to call it, in a huge oversized sweater... Which is why I really loved this sweater, the v-neck/off-the-shoulder shape counteracts it's chunkiness and makes it look so feminine.
You can lower the sweater a little more so that your shoulders are completely exposed or higher it so that it's more like a V-neck, seriously SO versatile.
Light Chasing
Jacket: Zara | Sweater: Cotton On | Skirt: Zara | Shoes: Adidas Stand Smith | Watch: HERE | Glasses: Ray-ban |
Nothing like a little afternoon light-chasing.
Also, I've really been enjoying pairing like-colors like I did here with the jacket and the sweater. I've always really enjoyed khaki/medium browns but I feel like my love grows more and more by the day.
I walked into a store today and nearly squealed when I saw a table with beautifully folded knits in just about every shade of brown known to man... I must've looked like some kind of insect being drawn to light, it's a problem & I'm aware... but I can't help it.

If you've followed me on Instagram for a while you know that I've been a huge fan of Daniel Wellington watches since the beginning. I've owned one of their classic pieces for about three years now & I have not grown tired of it, in fact, I have to stop myself from wearing it sometimes to prevent my other watches from collecting dust.
I truly believe their pieces are so affordable for the quality that you're getting. The leather ages so well, I actually prefer how it looks once I've worn it in. This one pictured is new to me from their classic black collection & OMG it is so stunning. I am pretty picky when it comes to design and they just do everything so well, from the type of leather, to the color of the leather, to the overall face design, It's perfect. They also make cuffs (like the one pictured) which go so well with the watches.
They were nice enough to give my followers a 15% discount off their entire site by entering the promo code "GEMARY" at checkout valid through January 31. For the holidays they are offering free shipping, free returns & free gift-wrapping.
If you're having trouble figuring out what to gift someone, look no further! You seriously cannot go wrong with any of their watches. Order by December 21 in order to receive it by Christmas Day. Happy shopping!
